Electric Moto Garage is the next step: an independent shop focused on honest diagnostics, capable repairs, responsible battery work, and practical support for the growing electric-moto and PEV community — including the machines that conventional bike shops and motorcycle shops often turn away.

Battery ServicesFrom battery to brakes
Lithium-ion battery diagnostics, BMS diagnosis and replacement, custom battery design and construction, cell-group diagnosis, connector and charge-port repair, and charger compatibility and integration. Sur-Ron battery repair is one of our most requested services — including the connector failure below.
Sur-Ron Light Bee: OEM Supra Connector → QS8 Upgrade
A common failure on the 2018–2023 Sur-Ron Light Bee: the OEM "Supra" battery connector is undersized and prone to melting its brass pins — even on a stock 6000W controller. We dremel out the epoxied OEM connector, desolder the burnt terminals, and install a QS8 connector rated for 15,000W, plus replace the wiring from the connector to your controller with fresh 8AWG. QS8 connectors are included, and the upgrade means a future controller upgrade won't require touching the harness again.
About 1.25 hours of labor at $200/hr — typically $250 total. If you run spare OEM Light Bee batteries as backups, each one needs the same service (or an adapter) to match. A new OEM battery and harness runs $1,200+, so this is the practical fix to keep a Light Bee reliable at high power.

Can you repair my battery?
Many battery problems can be diagnosed and repaired, but not every pack is safe or economical to rebuild. Every battery is evaluated individually before any repair is recommended.
Do you work on modified or high-powered machines?
Yes — that's a core focus. Modified and high-performance PEVs are welcome here, including machines other shops may not be equipped or willing to service.
Do you ship parts nationwide?
The parts and accessories side of Electric Moto Garage is being built out to ship throughout the United States. Reach out for current availability.
